Shaker Money Holder

Hello today I am sharing a Shaker Money Holder

This was a tutorial by Vicki over on Splitcoast Stampers and you can see that here

Here is the front of my pocket, I had to make the pocket with a larger size pocket than the one used over on Spitcoast to suit the size of our money in the UK

This is the back of the pocket

I had fun making this and hope you give it a go

and here it is all empty!!

I wonder what else I could use it for!

Thanks for looking

Shaker Card using Stampin' Up! products

As you are probably aware I really enjoy making Christmas Cards and Shaker Cards fall very well into that category for me

I just knew I had to get the Large Letter Dies and this makes this card so easy to make

I used Tear and Tape around the edges of my Vanilla Card and sprinkled with Gold Glitter

If you do this make sure you rub well and the glitter really sparkles

I cut out the J and Y using the large letter dies with Gold Glimmer Paper

For the O I used the Merriest Wishes and matching Die to make my shaker card

Adding the Gold Mica Flakes to give the whole card the Gold Look

Shabby Chic Christmas Card - Stampin' Up! Style

It's been a while since I made a Shabby Chic Card and I really enjoyed making this one

I used half a sheet of Thick Whisper White Card Stock and scored down the length of it making a skinny long card then added a piece of Kraft Card as the first layer

I stamped the next layer, Very Vanilla, with the dotty stamp from Christmas Pines Stamp Set using Crumb Cake Ink

I distressed the edges on both layers

I added a smaller panel and a Kraft Star from the Star Framelits then added the die cut bauble from Merry Tags Framelits

Added some Linen Thread, Delicate White Doilies and the Guipure Lace Trim is from my own stash

and that's the card for today!

Until next time .............

In Laid Die Cut with Christmas Stockings from Stampin' Up!

When I first got the Christmas Stockings Bundle from the Autumn Winter Catalogue from Stampin' Up! I didn't pay too much attention to the Noel die, WRONG it's a really useful die

Then I had a light bulb moment and created this Clean and Simple Card and inlaid the Noel die at the bottom

You should be able to see it a little better in this photo, I die cut the Noel again in Silver Glimmer Card and popped it into the space, then added the Whisper White piece back over the top slightly offset

The 3 die cut leaves are from Pretty Pines Thinlits and flower is punched from the Blossom Builder Punch

The addition of a few Jewels just finishes it off nicely

Hope you liked the card for today

Seasonal Decorative Masks - Stampin' Up!

I took a look at the weekly Success from Stampin' Up! and realised I had the Seasonal Decorative Masks to CASe (copy and share everything) one of the cards in the issue

I first of all embossed (yes embossed) the stencil using the Big Shot and these stencils are very affordable! only £5.50 check them out on page 43 in the Autumn Winter Catalogue 4 in the set

then I used a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink and sponged through the stencil

I did change the card size and used the doily on the right side rather than the back (white) side

Supplies used

Crumb Cake Card Stock and Ink
Very Vanilla Card Stock
Pear Pizzazz Card Stock and Ink
Real Red Card Stock and Ink
Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set
Bunch of Banners Framelits
Real Red Bakers Twine from the Candy Cane Lane duo set
Metallic Foil Doilies

Christmas Stocking and Hang your Stocking Stampin' Up!

Yes, another Christmas Card!

I started in June making cards and certainly have enough for this year and maybe some for next year but then they are my favourite cards to make

I used the Holly Embossing Folder for the background and layered up with Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler the die cut stocking is from Christmas Stockings Thinlits

I cut the heels of the stocking and top with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Card and the sentiment is from the Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set, when you buy both together you can save 10%
