Herringbone Technique

I'm sure I don't have to tell my lovely UK blog readers that we are having some lovely weather in the UK at the moment and for those that know me you know how much a sun lover I am?  Can you believe it? sitting in the sun in the month of March, well I am loving it and hope it lasts.
The only thing though is I don't get to do any crafting but I did start this little card on Sunday evening and finished it off last night.

I have been seeing lots of this Herringbone technique on different blogs so I thought I would have a go!

I used the Cheerful Treat designer paper; it's a Hostess choice, so if you host a party you could get some of this; or why not join in my stampers 6 club I have a space just for you.  If you would like more details just drop me an email.

The Hello stamp is from the Sale a Bration set of stamps Elementary Elegance and I layered this on some circle punches and the Curly label punch along with the Modern label punch, the sentiment "It's your day!" is also from a Hostess stamp set called Happiest Birthday Wishes.
The banner I die cut from the Petal Cone die.

Hope you are enjoying the sunshine wherever you are?

............ Until next time ............. don't forget the sun lotion ......
