Olympic Torch comes passed Callow Hill

I thought I would show you what happened yesterday going passed Callow Hill just around the corner from where I live.

It  was a very important day in history so of course I had to go and take a peek as I'm sure I won't get to see anything like this again in my lifetime

These are some of the pictures and the first one is a crowd waiting for the torch to arrive

and more of the crowd going down the hill

The big blue bus, they were dancing and telling us that it was 5 minutes away at this point

the back of the blue bus

and the Coke a Cola bus, I did look for the 'man' but couldn't see the one in the adverts!

Here comes the torch

and here is the Torch Bearer, I did a check and a lady called Judith Stanley was listed as the bearer she was from Upton on Severn so I hope this was the lady.

I can't believe how close I got to get this picture it was such an amazing day

Here she goes down the hill and on the way to Bewdley

Well all in all it was a great day and the atmosphere was quite special, we have all of this to come again with the Queen's Jubilee and now I'm looking forward to that.

Have a great day today in the sunshine

I'll be back tomorrow with a card to show you, thanks for looking if you got this far today.

............ Until tomorrow ............X

Fabulous pictures Peg - the Olympics and Queens Diamond Jubilee really seems to be revitalising the "British spirit"
